In addition to the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, Ohio charities often have required filings with other governmental offices such as the Internal Revenue Service and the Ohio Secretary of State. This webinar will review some of those responsibilities, as well as discuss some general tips about recordkeeping for charities.

All Ohio charities and those that solicit Ohioans are required to make annual filings in the Ohio Attorney General’s online charitable system. Although there are exceptions for exclusively faith-based organizations, organizations can fall out of legal compliance for failure to make these simple annual reports.
